  • "Keep Portland Weird" wall: This is a must-see wall in Portland if you want a cute picture to remember your trip! It's located in downtown Portland, right across from Voodoo Doughnuts!
  • VOODOO Doughnuts: This doughnut shop is popular for it's array of themed doughnuts! Of course, try out the Voodoo doll if you get the chance! Quick Tip: The shop in downtown Portland gets very crowded, but there is another one about 1.5 miles from the main VOODOO shop! We went and they had the cutest pink wall to take a picture with, plus there was no wait AND they are open 24 hours per day!
  • Latourell Falls: This is a beautiful and short hike located about 30 minutes from the city! There is a HUGE, stunning waterfall which you can see from the parking lot. The hike loops up and around the falls where you will find yet another gorgeous waterfall!  The hike is only 2 miles and is shaded by many moss-covered trees.
  • Alberta Arts District: This was my favorite place to visit in Portland! It is a long stretch of unique shops, dining, bars, cool street art and more! We ate at Hana Kitchen and they had some very yummy sushi and salmon! Located about 20 minutes from downtown Portland.
  • Cannon Beach, Oregon: Cannon Beach is a super cute town located about 2 hours from Portland! It is home of the famous Haystack Rock (which may I add is BREATH-TAKING in person)! I 100% recommend visiting this town. The drive from Portland to Cannon Beach is a gorgeous trip on a winding road through the forest!
  • House of Vintage: This is a super cute and quirky vintage thrift shop! They had everything from Vinyl to clothing to old photographs and postcards!
  • International Rose Test Garden: I highly recommend visiting this FREE rose garden located in Washington Park! I have never seen so many beautiful roses in my life!! Plus, the place smelled amazing. I would not miss out on the rose gardens, especially because you only have to pay for parking which is about $4!
  • Monograph Bookwerks: If you are into poetry, vintage items and books in general, then you have to go here! I stumbled upon the raddest poem book by Walt Curtis from 1974 in amazing condition. Plus the shop owner was very nice and knowledgeable about the books.
I hope you enjoyed my little Portland travel diary and possibly found some new places to visit! Oregon is a beautiful state and I would totally recommend a trip there ASAP!
